- A Malvern-based company that has been a leader in the plastics industry for almost 100 years has celebrated a new era for the business with a celebratory event marking its rebrand.
- LGG Charlesworth was rebranded Talisman Plastics on 1 June and to mark the transformation a celebration event which included a hog roast for staff.
- Shaun Champion, who was appointed managing director of the company on 1 May, said: The rebrand is a significant milestone for us. It brings together three trading divisions under a single brand while maintaining the trust, credibility and industry knowledge that we have attained over the past 100 years.
- We wanted to celebrate the occasion with an official unveiling event for the new Talisman Plastics brand, along with the launch of a new website on 1 June. It was a great occasion and we were pleased to see so many faces, new and old, joining us.
- As part of the rebranding and restructuring of the company, significant investment has taken place, including new machinery creating further capacity; the appointment of new Tooling and Techanical managers; and the acquisition of an established caps and enclosures company.
- Turnover is on target to be 10% up on 2017.

- Talisman Plastics is able to injection mould a wide variety of parts in many different materials, ranging from 5 gram to 700gram. Single shot clear mouldings to challenging technical over-mouldings within tight tolerances.
- The company incorporates Talisman Security Seals, which supplies tamper evident security seals, high-security container cable and bolt barrier type security seals, clinical waste bag tags, tamper evident adhesive seals & tapes. It also operates a Caps & Closures division supplying secondary closures for the packaging market .
