LGG Charlesworth recently played host to the Hereford & Worcester Chamber of Commerce Manufacturing Forum breakfast meeting at their factory in Malvern.
Nine companies from across Hereford & Worcester enjoyed a factory tour and presentations with an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to LGG Charlesworth on issues they face within the manufacturing industry.
Managing Director Graham Ward said: The format for this event was Charlesworths proposal to the Chamber, as we wanted to host a Manufacturing Forum but were not able to host such a large number of visitors as some of the preceding Forums. We therefore proposed a smaller event, but used the reduced numbers in order to have greater engagement of the participants. The result was extremely positive, with the factory tour being the centre of a dynamic two way exchange of information. People involved with manufacturing products have an almost insatiable appetite for improvement, and this style of forum offered the opportunity to have a number of manufacturing professionals sharing ideas in and around our processes. The feedback from those participating has been extremely positive and I have no doubt that by holding this event we have enhanced the reputation of LGG Charlesworth within the business community.
